Scott Venhaus is Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Quantum. Scott is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations while leading Quantum’s global supply chain transformation initiatives to deliver end to end solutions while driving profitability, growth and innovation. In addition to his role at Quantum, Scott is owner and Managing Member of Venhaus Farms which focuses on sustainable farming and ranching in West Texas and is the owner and Managing Member of Sustineri Solutions LLC which focuses on providing ITAD services and solutions globally to small and mid size OEMs based in Round Rock, Texas.
Scott is a proven operational transformation leader with over 20 years of experience defining, leading and executing customer centric solutions in the electronics industry. Prior to Quantum, Scott had held operations, supply chain, compliance and sales leadership roles in manufacturing, integration and distribution at Arrow Electronics, Encore Repair Services and General Electric. Scott’s experience includes successful business launches in Asia and Latin America, organization turn-around and restructures globally, including acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Scott began his career serving seven years in the US Navy as an aviation supply chain and operations instructor, earning the Master Training Specialist designation.
Scott is a thought leader in manufacturing, electronics and electronic recovery industries. He serves on the board of directors of the Recycling Industry Operating Standard (RIOS), is a steering committee member for the World Recycling Forum in Asia and the International Electronics Recycling Congress in Europe.
