Matthew Young is a Recycling and Sustainability Entrepreneur, who has been working in electronics reuse, repair, and recycling for over a decade. Matthew is the Founder and President of Electronics Value Recovery, Inc. and Rest In Peace Recycling, LLC. Matt is the Chair of ISRI’s Reuse Specifications Committee, an industry-wide effort defining standards to make the trade of Used and Refurbished electronics destined for resale easier. Matt is active with his alma mater, the University of Maryland, College Park, and sits on the board of the Terp Thon Alumni Association, an organization he founded as an undergraduate, and is actively involved with today, raising money for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. When not rooting for his Terps or working, Matt enjoys spending time with his new bride, his dog Queso, reading, skiing and sailing.
